LOGIMINE was founded in 1997 to establish an innovative mine management system enabling significant productivity increases, better control of quality and stock homogenisation. The system was originally applied at Aluminium ore mining sites in 1990.
In 1999, LOGIMINE launched its own range of vehicle mounted electronics that enables the acquisition and communication of data including vehicle position, movement and payload. The system is compatible with third party integrated payload systems.
Since 2002, LOGIMINE has extended the capability of its system by integrating network solutions such as WIFI, telephony over IP, backbone optical fibre etc. More recently, the latest real time radio communication systems and high precision GPS have been integrated into the system.
The LOGIMINE range has grown over years to enable full control of mine vehicles of any type, dispatch, drilling and blasting activities, as well as quality and stock management.
Recent innovations include a high-precision loader weight measurement system which is already used in North America.
The company has built long term relationships with major open cast mines and quarries throughout the world.
